NYOS Charter School—Not Your Ordinary School—is a free public charter school founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted more out of education for their children. Through a commitment to our students, staff, and academic excellence, we have grown to serve over 1,600 students in PreK through 12th grade. At NYOS, we educate the whole student. We foster a collegial Pre-K – 12 program that challenges each learner with rigorous academics, innovative strategies, and expectations for civic engagement.

Primary Role:

Lead Kitchen Operations in preparation of meals for daily menu items as assigned. Employee must perform and demonstrate understanding of materials taught during training. Individual in this role will provide good customer service and contribute to the overall mission of NYOS Charter School. Daily Schedule 5:30am to 2:00pm

Essential functions may include but are not limited to the following: Regular and Reliable Attendance. Sitting for long periods, dexterity of fingers, lifting objects up to 20 lbs. in weight, and being able to communicate information clearly as well as the ability to see objects at a close range and at a distance.
